LONG-DISTANCE RIDE
I had spend three weeks at the Most Southern Point of North America. That permitted me to send to the Prime Minister of Canada Jean Chrétien a registered letter to make I'm aware of the torture that I had suffered in my own Country.
The latest long-distance traveler fond his way to Key West and The Key West Citizen office this week. Serge Bourassa-Lacombe of Montreal claims he walked and hitchhiked more than 3,000 miles and pedaled his bike more than 3,700 miles to promote his self-named foundation. Wearing a red jacket with the symbol of a bear on back, Lacombe says his foundation promotes justice for abused and oppressed people, a group in which he considers himself a member.
