Mr. Bourassa-Lacombe is a 55 year old man, single person without child, LIVING ON THE WELFARE. Its first hospitalization in psychiatry took place in 1995 at the Fleurimont University hospital, in Sherbrooke for a state of mania psychotic. HE was hospitalized there against HIS WILL because THEY has fears for his dangerousness for others in link with A threats which HE had uttered towards people of the CEGEP that he attended. The version of Mr Bourassa-Lacombe is that HE was victim of a MISTAKing identity with an individual named Serge LacoMbe who was a serial rapist. In spite of this difference of version, THEY notes that the psychiatrists of THE CHUS noted at his place the presence of a state psychotic and maniac for whom a treatment was proposed and that Mister refused. HE rather left FOR Florida BY bicycle.
In March 2003, he was hospitalized AT CHUS OF Fleurimont EVEN RATHER AT CHUS - BOWEN for a new severe psychotic episode. Mister again refused the treatment suggested. But, taking into account the clinical picture, he was considered to be necessary to resort to a legal ordinance of treatment to impose the treatment. The following year, in April 2004. THIS ordinance was renewed for 3 years period. At this point in time Mister requested a transfer of his file from the Douglas hospital.
It was met there for the first time on June 8th, 2004. He said THAT HE want to claim damage for 75 million dollars for “tortures” which he had undergone. He added that in the event of not-payment of this amount, other tragic events like slaughters of Polytechnic or Dawson CollÈge would occur again and that all would be responsible… The table worsened at the point where a fifth legal ordinance of care was necessary made. IT was requested and obtained from the Douglas hospital in July 2009. Following that, Mister asked and obtained for a transfer to the hospital Louis-H. - Lafontaine. I became his attending physician in August 2009.
Mister conformed to the treatment imposed by the ordinance between July 2009 and July 2011. During this period, the imposing ideas were present, but did not constitute significant problems. Mister had a distance compared to his ideas of size and a certain self-criticism. He could accept the idea that medication as Lithium had a favorable effect on him. In order to try to meet the need for visibility, Mr Bourassa-Lacombe forwarded several very bulky documents to the Prime Ministers for Quebec. He sent some more recently new to the Prime Minister. These documents invite the Prime Minister like 19 other people (of which Prime Ministers, representatives of the medical community, psychiatry, justice) to go at his place to hear the speech there that he would pronounce there. In the representation that Mister has this meeting, HIs house is surrounded by police cars, of helicopters, journalists coming from everywhere. In this manner, HIs message is heard everywhere, and it becomes known of all. According to its manner of seeing all that, as from this moment, “the mental illness leaves the cupboard”. Following this intervention, THEY gives several million dollars to him, just as a bus (comparable with that used by the politicians in electoral campaign). HE can then circulate through the country “to sow the Fine words”. According to HIs conviction, from there, of the tragic events would not occur any more.
In November 2012, Mr Bourassa-Lacombe presented himself to the police station 48, place where HE goes regularly. Monsieur Bourassa-Lacombe reacted to a simple frustration. However, it is necessary to locate this reaction in the context where Mister devotes much importance to the “demonstration” which it does not constitute a danger. It is for him a game the cat and mouse which he plays with

psychosocial speakers and with the police officers. HE ENJOYS to cause reactions of - various ways. In this game, HE does not lose control. However, last November, HE was not able to behave like HE usually does it. HE was not able to play HIs own game. I believe that it is significant of a loss of the capacity to be contained.
At the time of our meetings during the current hospitalization, I tried in various ways and on several occasions to discuss with him of what occurred for him. HE was (and remains) unable to take AT least A retreat compared to the imposing position which makes of him a Rescuer, a prophet, a victim, etc the conclusion which is essential from the psychiatric point of view is that the level of invasion by the psychotic identity is very important, that the ego (usual identity) is submerged.
